Moorfield Community Allotments were established in early 2013
with funding help from the National Lottery.
The idea was to promote healthy eating and providing the children with an opportunity to
learn about growing your own vegetables.
Mr Collinson invited families to be part of the scheme and to have one of the plots.
Mr Marshall then proceeded to build the plots from
scratch.
